Legislative alerts

Dear Members,

When there is quiet in a state THAT IS THE TIME TO BE PRO-ACTIVE.  Our members in TEXAS are having quite a time now.  I would like to give you a run down on what is going on there.  It would be wonderful if you would take the time to write to the governor there even if you aren’t in TEXAS.

There was one sweet member from Texas (whose state is going through some really nasty legislation), “Let’s give it to em!!”……….and so should we all.

Not sure how to write a letter to the legislators?  Follow this path:  akc.org/government relations (on left side of home page)/ click on Brochures AND the red toolbox.
Look for helps in writing.  They are there in pamphlet form.  Hope it helps.
