Centennial Rescue Parade
An OESCA-sponsored Rescue Parade is planned for the Centennial on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Noon in the Expo Center at the Lancaster Host Resort, 2300 Lincoln Hwy East, Lancaster, PA 17602. It is planned to recognize the efforts of all who rescue and celebrate the lives we’ve saved.
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
Best costume representing the rescue OES’ home state or rescue region – prize for male and female – SS water pail with toys and breed related prize Rescue OES (male and female) traveling the furthest distance to the Centennial - SS water pail with toys and breed related prize OES rescue organization with the most dogs represented – cash donation Commemorative Centennial ribbons (donated by NEOESR) will be awarded to all participants.
All OES rescue organizations participating are encouraged to have one of their dogs (or owners) carry an identification banner or have some type of identifying item to showcase their organization. We want you all to “strut your stuff”!!
Entries should include the following info: Name of dog, home city and state, and name of rescue organization from which the dog was adopted.
